So I have been pondering quite a bit on decoration lately as time to buy an apartment is approaching. Hopefully it will be our reality during 2011. Crossing fingers.
Though these may be a bit too feminine to actually have when sharing home with two manly men, a girl can dream.. can't she?

Searching Storage for Beauty Products
From above |
Here's the back |
The front |
What am I going to store here exactly? |
I have seen so many smart storage solutions on my fellow beauty bloggers blogs. I have got a few tips so I'm gonna have a look around.
I haven't made a proper full-hearted search around town yet but I walked past the bathroom accessory department and found this which I think is convenient. I don't trust suction cups though but they can simply be removed.
I wanted to share this simple and cheap idea/solution for storage. I put a few items in the container for better size and space concept. It's pretty deep.
Storage tips are greatly appreciated *Hint Hint*

Men's Skin Care: Amore Pacific Hera Homme
Merry Christmas to everyone!
I apologize for the lack of updates here lately, I know at least a couple of you guys are waiting for updates. With Christmas being over things are back to normal, even here at Honey Heart Beauty.
With the camera battery in the charging station I'm too eager to get back to Health and Beauty blogging to wait for it.
Which makes a good idea out of blogging about a facial cleansing product created for men by Amore Pacific. Their products are exquisite and favored for its concentrated, botanical-infused treatments. The Hera Homme Dual Cleansing Foam has dual function as a cleansing foam and shaving foam.
Who says that beauty is for women strictly? I am very hygienic, I keep myself and my home fresh and clean. A pet peeve I have is lousy personal hygiene so a BF who doesn't take good care of himself is out of the question. I bought him this product as a surprise and it was money well spent.
I've known him for 7 years, he takes good care of himself. After started using Amore Pacific Hera Homme his skin is ... it looks perfect. Perfect is a strange word to use but I can't put it any other way. It looks perfect. I look at his facial skin and I feel jealousy, haha! No dirt what so ever, the pores are so clean. I asked him what he thinks of it, his response was "it is good" and he is the biggest critic I know of. He has expressed his interest in one more tube which means that he likes it. He hasn't had any breakouts since he started with it.
Information from Amore Pacific:
Men`s skin is different from that of women: It gets irritated due to everyday shaving and is thicker than women`s skin. While the blood circulation is a lot more active, men lose elasticity and hydration more easily. Men`s skin also has a higher level of acidity and discharges about twice as much sebum as women`s.Company Information:
Amore Pacific use natural and powerful ingredients such as green tea, bamboo sap and red ginseng in their products. Bamboo, green tea, and Korean Red ginseng hold the key to longevity, good health, and youthful skin. Amore Pacific places the utmost care in cultivating botanical ingredients by harvesting each plant at peak times to ensure the highest nutrient potency possible and therefore delivers the best skin-perfecting results possible.
Does your boyfriends/husbands care about cleaning their face every day?

Review: Maithong Mangosteen Soap (Adult Acne; My Secret)
Teen acne and Adult acne are not the same thing and need to be treated differently. I don't know how this product work on teen acne, even if it does. I use it to treat my adult acne for which it works wonders.
I haven't come across a product even similar to it's effectiveness to treat adult acne. I notice it is working only after the first use, after the second use my acne is noticeable better. My face feels very clean.
My acne isn't severe or spread throughout the entire face. It is normally (when I don't stray from my daily facial cleansing routine) located on my chin area and on my forehead.
The ingredients list reads:
Mangoosteen, Black Sesame, Vitamin E, Palm Kernel Oil, Sodium Cocate (Coconut oil), Glycerin, Aqua
It contains natural anti-oxidants and protects skin from acne and rash.
Back of the package reads:
Mangosteen and natural herbal extracts act as a natural AHA whitener. Mangosteen is an excellent anti-oxidant and has natural anti-bacterial properties that help reduce acne, black spots and skin imperfections of the face and body. Vitamin E, extracted from Black Sesame, provides moisture and brightens your skin.
Many products state similar things but are ineffective. Mangosteen reduced my acne significantly after just two uses. It's between $5 - $12 depending on where you buy it and it's cost effective. One bar of 100 g. soap will last me way past six months if used twice daily. I dare guess up to one year. To my knowledge it's probably not easy to find on the market outside of Asia. The producing company is located in Bangkok Thailand. I didn't find an official website but it's distributed on selected websites throughout the web. I bought mine off ebay.
Would you buy it: Yes
Would you recommend it: Yes
Rate it: ★★★★★
Comment: It sounds too good to be true, I have found my Mr. Right of acne products.
I like that it has anti-bacterial properties and is anti-inflammatory. I have some redness on the sides of the nose which this herbal soap reduces. Overall it gives my skin a more even tone and healthier glow. It looks like when I've applied a small amount of concealer, except I haven't.
Mangosteen
Mangosteen, The queen of fruits is one of the tastiest fruits in the world, is native to South East Asia and requires a year round, warm, very humid, equatorial climate. Many researchers from many world-class laboratories founded that Mangosteen are naturally antibiotic, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory; and are the most powerful antioxidants found in nature that could cure skin rashes, infections and wounds.Antioxidants are well known for their ability to slow the aging process, thus providing us with wrinkle-free skin. Antioxidants are good nutrition in our diets that neutralize damaging free radicals incurred cumulatively due to elder age. Free radicals damage healthy cells in our body.

Short Hiatus
I'm not being a blog snob, honest. Beauty and Health are my passions and a big part of my life on a daily basis. The lack of updates lately have to do with a few things - My BF had the camera and I was unable to take pictures. A post without images aren't fun to read and I rather take and use my own. I have the camera now and it is charged so there's really no excuse there for not updating now. I think I needed a short hiatus and focus on some other things, even though I love maintaining and give attention to the blog otherwise. I have had to deal with some meetings out of the ordinary and other personal matters. The approaching holiday brings many preparations for a mother and my mind has been on my family and friends more than usual.
My blog is precious to me and so is my followers and readers. I appreciate every comment and follower. I shall definitely not end this blog, things should be back to normal after the holidays. Until then there won't be frequent updates, but at least a few. :)

Sounds good, right? Something I drink every once in a while is homemade cinnamon tea. It's real simple to make and it taste good as well.
How to make homemade cinnamon tea:
- Heat up water together with cinnamon. Just break one cinnamon stick in half horizontally, place both pieces in the pot.
- Allow for the water to boil.
- Take off stove and let cool down until the temperature is perfect for drinking.
- Enjoy your healthy cup of tea!
The inside is just as important to take care of as the outside.
